Once you become a certified nursing assistant, you will be registered with the CNA registry in your state. There is a registry for nurse’s aides in each state. Most states do require you to have some continuing education throughout your career. Specific courses might be required or you might simply need to complete a certain number of continuing education credits each year or so.
