This school offers new classes every 6 to 8 weeks. In order to find out the exact date of the next classes contact them for more information. They require students to be at least 17 years old and have graduate high school or received their GED. If neither of these has been accomplished the student must pass the assessment test.

3. Duncan Polytechnical High School- 4330 E. Garland Ave, Fresno CA 93726 (559) 248-7080. http://www.fresno.k12.ca.us/schools/s077/teachers/wehner/index.html. This is a class that is taught to High School students who attend this school. For more information about this program contact Laurie Wehner at the number listed above.

4. Alice Manor Nurse Aid Training- 8448 East Adams, Fowler CA 93625 (209)834-2570. This is a nursing home facility that pays for students to go to school to become a CNA. However, in return the student must work at their facility for a number of years. For more information call the number mentioned above.

5. Coalinga Medical Center Ralph Neate Extended Care- 1191 Phelps Ave, Coalinga CA 93210 (559)935-6503. This is an extended stay facility that pays for students to go to school to become CNA’s. However, an agreement must be made between the students and the facility before the facility will pay for the schooling. To inquire about what must be done to be eligible for this program call the number that is listed.

6. Golden Cross Health Care of Fresno- 1233 A Street, Fresno CA 93706 (209) 268-5361. This health care facility will cover the costs of a student’s schooling if they meet the requirements that they have set in place. However, they may or may not cover the costs for the student to take the certification exam. In order to see if you are eligible for their program contact them for further information.

7. Raintree Convalescent Hospital- 1665 M Street, Fresno CA 93721 (209)237-3444. This is a hospital that helps put students through classes so they can become a CNA. However, once the classes are complete and they have passed the certification exam they will be required to work at their facility for the agreed amount of time. To see if you are someone who meets their criteria contact them.

8. Sunnyside Convalescent Hospital- 2939 South Peach Ave, Fresno CA 93727. (209) 233-6248. This is a hospital is always in need of CNA’s. They will cover the costs of the certification classes but there will be other things that the student will have to do for them in return. Also, there are some criteria’s that must be met. 9. Willow Creek Care Center- 650 West Alluvial, Clovis CA 93611. (209)323- 6200. This care center helps students achieve their dreams of becoming CNA’s with no cost to them at all. If you are interested give them a call and see if you would be eligible for their program

10. Friendship Manor Lakeside- 11962 Woodside Ave, Lakeside CA 92040. (619)561-1222. This facility has a program available for people to become CNA’s. Also after you become a CNA you will have a guaranteed job at their facility. If you would be interested in this offer give them a call.
