CNA Training in Arkansas

In order to become a CNA in Arkansas, you need to attend a CNA training course.  You will have up to one year after finishing the training course to challenge and pass the certification exam for nursing assistants.  Prometric is the company in Arkansas that was granted the responsibility of creating and administering the certification exam.  The company also maintains the Nursing Assistant Registry for the state.  They were chosen by the Department of Health Services in Arkansas for these responsibilities.  All Nursing Assistant Competency Exam sites are managed by Prometric. You will find a list of training center reviews below:

Individuals who complete a CNA training program anywhere in the state can select the site where they will take their certification exam.  Sometimes the site for a training program is also an approved testing site, making it easy for students to take their exam at that location.

An individual who completes a CNA training program will needs to pass the certification exam within 12 months to become certified.  Both portions of the competency exam (written and skills) must be passed before being granted certification.  Students can take the certification exam up to three times.  If they fail a third time, they will need to repeat a certified nursing assistant training program.
