It is always free to practice for the skills portion of the CNA certification test. This portion of the test is when you will demonstrate some of the tasks and duties you will complete as a CNA. You can ask family and friends to serve as your model patients while you practice for your exam.
You can also get together with other members of your training course to study for the skills part of the test. Take turns serving as the model patients for role playing and in order to perfect your CNA skills before the exam. You can also use training videos to help you better prepare for the skills portion of the CNA examination.

In some cases, your instructor for your CNA course might have practice CNA tests. These tests will sometimes be used before you complete your training course to help everyone prepare for the test. Talk to your instructor to learn more about finding practice tests or about the specific materials you should study for the test.
Make your own practice tests Look over your past quizzes and tests for some of the most difficult questions or the questions that you missed. Make a quiz with those questions to ensure that you are ready to handle even the hardest questions. Search through your textbooks and study guides for more questions that might be found on the certification exam. Compile your own list of sample questions to use as a practice test.
Get together members of your CNA training class to create sample tests. Work together to make up tests that you can exchange and grade for one another. This is a good hands on approach to studying for your certification exam that should go a long way in being helpful when test day arrives.
