There are some colleges in the state of Virginia that offer nursing assistant programs. If you attend a program that is comprised of regular credit hours, you can apply for state and federal financial assistance. You will receive free cna training if you are approved for enough grants to cover your tuition. The same is true if you are approved for enough scholarship money to complete nursing assistant training.
You can be reimbursed any money you spent for nursing assistant training courses if you are hired by a nursing care facility in Virginia. An employer will reimburse your expenses if you are hired to work as a CNA for their facility within one year of receiving your certification.
